Who we are

WILDSAVANT, Lda. (VAT PT 517 360 861), based in Porto, Portugal, is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

What this website collects

Very little. The site has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no forms, and sets no cookies of its own. Fonts and images are served from our own host, so visiting the site sends no requests to Google or any other third party.

  • Light or dark mode. If you use the toggle in the header, your browser stores that choice on your device. It is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
  • Security cookie. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may store a cookie called cf_clearance in your browser to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. It is strictly necessary to keep the site available and secure, is not used to track you or show you ads, and expires after at most one year. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider may record technical data such as your IP address, browser and the time of each request. This is used only to deliver the site and keep it secure, and is kept for a short period.

When you email or call us

We use your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your project to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal and a contract. The legal basis is taking steps before a contract at your request, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Emails to our address are forwarded by Cloudflare, which also hosts this website, to a mailbox hosted by Google. Both process them only on our behalf. We don't sell your data, share it with anyone else, or add you to mailing lists.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation or project needs it, and delete it once it's no longer needed. If we work together, invoices and contract records are kept for the periods required by Portuguese tax and accounting law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
